How to use Secure Mac Cleaner?

1. After you have installed the program, start by using its One Click Cleaning feature. Click on the "Start System Scan" button towards the right of the main screen of Secure Mac Cleaner or just click on “One Click Cleaning” tab located in the left panel of the program.

2. After the scan is complete, please click on the "Clean Now" button to fix all the issues on your system.This releases some valuable space from the hard drive.

Which operating systems is Secure Mac Cleaner compatible with?

1. Secure Mac Cleaner requires OS X 10.7 or higher version and around 50 MB of free space to install.

Secure Mac Cleaner shows all items have been cleaned. But they still appear in their containing folder.

Secure Mac Cleaner has been programmed in the Sandbox environment, that is, an environment where your write-protected files are not harmed. It will only clear those files that are not write-protected, keeping your Mac safe and secure. Hence, you have to delete the rest of the items manually.

On cleaning items through Secure Mac Cleaner, they re-appear in the next scan.

There are some files/applications on your Mac that are write-protected. Secure Mac Cleaner deletes only those files that are not write-protected, keeping your Mac secure. On scanning, some items do not show in the scanned items list but they exist on my Mac.
